Strömningsmekanik för vindturbiner i parker och i skog

Inom området strömningsmekanik så bedriver STandUP for Wind allt ifrån grundläggande studier av vindvakar till mer tillämpade studier av stora parker. Dessa studier bedrivs delvis genom beräkningar på superdatorer men även stora mätningar. Inom de olika projekten studeras t.ex. hur produktion, laster och turbiners livslängd beror på olika strömningsfenomen. Studierna genomförs delvis på offshore turbiner/parker men även turbiner/parker i komplexa miljöer som t.ex. svenska böljande skogslandskap studeras.
