Forskningsområde och forskargrupp

Ett klimatneutralt och hållbart Europa 2050 kräver ett svenskt, nordiskt och europeiskt elnät som effektivt kan integrera stora mängder förnybar elproduktion, samtidigt som har hög tillförlitlighet, tillgänglighet, effektivitet och säkerhet.

Forskning på KTH avdelningen för elektriska energisystem omfattar utveckling och tillämpning av metoder för analys, simulering och styrning av el-och integrerade energisystem. Viktiga aspekter inkluderar beslutskriterier, tillförlitlighet, säkerhet och marknadsdesign . Studerade system omfattar produktion, överföring, distribution och användning av elenergi i tillägg till drift och planering av elektriska kraftsystem. Ett viktigt område är kopplingen mellan det fysiska kraftsystemet och beteendet hos aktörerna på elmarknaden.
